Our founder, SHAWN A. STRAIN, is an accomplished security professional with over 20 years’ involvement in private sector financial services security. His work experience Includes 10 years’ experience in the armored car services industry and 10 years with one of the world’s largest ATM manufactures, physical security company Diebold (NYSE: DBD)
Strains professional security roles at Fortune 1000 company, Diebold included overseeing risk and threat management for people and property. In 2011, his security organization was responsible for well over USD $4 million in cost avoidance, and leading a robbery prevention campaign which resulted in zero robberies for 2012.
Since 1992 Strain has been involved with many facets of the ATM industry and is considered an expert in the fields of Threat Assessment, ATM service security, and corporate fraud investigation. Strain has testified in both criminal and civil court, at both the State and Federal level.
In addition to appearances on FOX News and others as an expert on Threat Assessment, Active Shooters, and the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting, Strain regularly presents and collaborates with industry peers, law enforcement and prosecutors about corporate investigations, workplace violence, worship center safety and security, and debit / credit card skimming fraud.
Strain is a native and resident of Colorado. He is a current member of the Colorado Association of Robbery Investigators, Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, and a recruit for the 2013 graduating class of Douglas County Search and Rescue
